I can see what you're saying. SOUND wise Kylie is a misfit on wtn (despite being my favorite by a f*ckin landslide.) And themeatically fits on SFS better. (Despite not existing yet). And vice versa with alt-Time. I like the version on SFS but I do also like the vault version. Cool stuff.  This is the kind of thing I was expecting the whole vault to be. But, then again, I do hold Ben to a superior-to-even-Ben Level.

My bad.

I'd love to hear all the original songs for silverman  songs. I know Gracie was an original take from that album, but the rest were re-recorded once Jared and Lindsay came around, correct?

Got its Japanese Edition. Sony Music Japan's website still says it includes Ben's exclusive message for Japanese fans, but there's no message :P

Wow - that's a completely different track ordering! Usually the Japanese editions just have a couple of extra tracks and an extra booklet insert or something!

I guess you guys don't need the CD1 stuff as you already got the "Ben Folds File" CD/DVD.

The only thing of note on the Ben Folds File CD/DVD was the inclusion of Video Killed the Radio Star, which was previously unreleased. Disc one of the Retrospective at least has some alternate cuts on it.

Yeah. How're they supposed to get something like House, without disc one?

I suppose they got Black Glasses.

Joke's on them.

I'm starting to think that "Breakup At Food Court" could have fit well on TUBORM after "Hospital Song". The 2nd verse of Breakup could talk about something like how Reinhold's girl helped him through that tough time but now that he's better he has no reason to be with her. And then it would make sense that he gets a job a Chik-fil-a in "Army" because he's been spending so much time in the food court.
