On the earlier posted lyrics, the line that goes "There will be times you might leave before you look.", should be "There will be times you might leap before you look". Also on the outro where he's sort of scatting around the "Do It Anyway", he says:
'Cause you don't do nothin' to avoid slow punishment.
You won't do nothin', you won't feel nothin'.
Gotta do it, do it, do it anyway
I like the song more as I've heard it over the course of a few days. The energy is definitely the best and most refreshing part. Also, hearing Robert on bass again is just glorious. His perspective has been totally missed on Ben's solo material. I agree with thoughts on the vocal not really blowing people away. My hope is that this will be the "Sports & Wine" of the new record. As in, it's a decent to good track in the context of the record but is never the main reason I feel like putting it on.
