thesuburbs, the .org, the .com

i'm a .orger, and this is my first post on thesuburbs. so far i'm confused

Consider this the light side.

i don't like the reply being on a different page.  i'll call this the barely-any-posting-side

I haven't been here long, but I find this to be the friendliest BF site out there. The .com is full of asses asking Ben to play at weddings and all of that jazz and just plain dicks. The .org is full of off topic irrelivence, and I guess you have to be in the 'in' crowd to be accepted there. This is a great place full of friendly people though.

Ya I've considered making a US based bf site, but still allow anyone who wants to join join, but I don't want to compete with this site cause I love the burbs.

so far my only gripe about thesuburbs is the lack of posting. the .org has a bunch of assess on it. but that makes for funny moments. the .com just sucks.

When you're used to the .org... yeah, not as much posting goes on here.

But on the flip side... you don't have to sift through 400 shit posts to find the 3 good ones.

I think the 'burbs is fantastic.

I've not met Andy (ironically, I could have done this week, and it didn't happen), but I've consistently found it to be the best Ben site there is. Bar none. The .org seems to be full of unhappy people, the .com full of sycophants.

So I salute you, Andy & co. - and I'm happy to be one of the nice people. Boxing's been good to me.

Amen that!  and, as far as I've seen, there haven't been any arguments about abortion or Dave Matthews.

As I might have said earlier, I still visit the .org, because a lot of awesome Ben news/stuff gets there first (sorry Andy!); but that's probably just because there are much more people on there. Apart from that, the burbs is the superior Ben site and it has the most awesome and friendly people on it.
