Transcription / Most Accurate Brick
« on: July 09, 2009, 07:46:10 PM »
On the actual recorded version of Brick from Whatever and Ever Amen, after entering the first verse succeeding the intro, do the notes continue on with F A D F A E D E A D E D A D E or does it change to F A D F D A E A E A D E D A D E? I have multiple copies of the sheet music and can't determine which is correct from the song. Help me?

General Board / FLAC of WASO

Are there any FLAC files of the show Ben played with the West Australian Symphany Orchestra? I'm looking for one of this song in particular:

I'm sorry that I post a new topic everyday, but I just have a thirst for all things Ben Folds.

Transcription / Shot in the Dark

I know that many people on this board are very skilled at creating accurate transcriptions and I was wondering if anyone would mind transcribing a video for me. I'm a studying piano player and would learn to love this song, but unfortunately there is no official sheet music for it (or a professional recording of it for that matter) and I don't have the ear for transcribing. Anybody willing to give it a try?

I know it's time consuming and unlikely anyone will do this, but should you decide to, I would greatly appreciate it.

General Board / FLAC Files

So I've recently gone on a downloading frenzy on wokeupwaytoolate and I was wondering if anyone knew how to put the FLAC files into iTunes. It doesn't seem to be working for me.

Ben? Please?

I'm dying to hear the album in it's orginal "one song" concept form. And an extended version of Don't Change Your Plans. And a recorded copy of Amelia Bright.

Pretty pretty please?

I might be the only one, but I would be even more excited/interested to see this option for RTS than I am WTN, primarily for the option of creating instrumentals. In my opinion, WTN is the most band driven (orchestrated) album that Ben Folds has released thus far and stripping songs of every track but the piano, leaves more to be desired. But on RTS, nearly every song has an amazing piano melody behind it and I would be so happy to have solo piano versions of each one. Just a thought.
